“Stripped of their Human Rights” ?

The following video is that of a British woman stating that she both knew little about the seal hunt and thought sealers “should be stripped of their human rights“.

There was no mention whether the farmers responsible for their food, who decapitated worms, bugs and small rodents in their fields with their farming equipment, who poisoned rats and mice in their storage facilities, and who kept cats and dogs to viciously attack and kill rodents and raccoons on their farm, should have their rights stripped as well.

Eastern Ontario also has an overpopulation problem when it comes to deer so some farmers  shoot and kill them to keep they from eating their produce, including an organic farmer I know. And like seals, deer and racoons are mammals…

Vegan-Vegetarian Bashing

Some vegans and vegetarians probably clicked on this message and thought that the subject line meant that I was going to bash them. That’s what the situation is now on Youtube, just because of the trolls.

As a 38 year old that started off with BBSes in Ottawa on my Amiga (Tumbler’s Tavern/Proton Palace), I have had a quite a few trolls attempt to manipulate my comments and try to make them say something they didn’t. And nothing really has changed. These people just try to fool more people into believing their manipulations now.

This is why some vegans and vegetarians are quite snippy and hostile at times, because they think people are just out to bash their lifestyle choice. And the trolls are quite willing to make every person that eats meat out as a hater or basher.

This is why I am being targeted. I’m a moderate and the trolls don’t want reason or civil discussion inbetween people with different opinions.

I think vegeterianism is fine, when it is viable – Like in some tropical climates. But I also think eating meat isn’t as unhealthy and immoral as some people want to make it out to be. And I practice what I preach ; I eat both vegetarian meals and a reduced amount of meat.

Normally I would pay no attention to these trolls and just discuss the issue with real people but Youtube has a serious issue in regards to their blocking and reporting procedures now.

Numerous reports of report failures and block bypasses by several haters/spammers have been posted in the community forums at Youtube and unlike before, when my complaints were addressed, the issues just linger and result in situations where the trolls and spammers are emboldened.

BUT, I have noticed that the forms do work in the Google Chrome browser, so it may be a glitch within IE and Firefox that can be addressed. I haven’t tried Opera but i’ve got enough browsers on my system. (EDIT – Read comment for update on issue)

Seriously, these trolls are wasting so much of my time that I could hardly find time to film and upload videos on Youtube, which now takes an eternity to process, after a long upload.

And Youtube is allowing the very little practicality they have left to be taken away by jerks who joined Youtube to annoy and harass people – To divide, conquer and render discussions useless and inhospitable to different ideas.

It is quite clear that these trolls have serious disorders and can’t handle three dimensional situations. That is why they assign people a personality and/or a series of beliefs and insist on these people proving they are not that person or subscribe to those beliefs.

This aggressive prejudice is a common trait in trolls, who simply berate people with their knee jerk, profanity laced allegations in order to have control on a situation, that wasn’t meant to be controlled in that manner in the first place.

They assign themselves a superior roll by demanding people defend themselves and never ever admit they are wrong in throwing accusations around. Why ? Because they see that as a sign of weakness.

This usually results in a dismissal of the discussion’s importance yet one had to wonder why they they invested so much time in gaining and retaining control of a discussion.

“Just for kicks” is also a common excuse for so much disruption and nonsence when quite frankly we know they are just spoiled children in adult bodies, demanding to be entertained by everyone around them. This explains the childish retorts like “No, you’re a troll and spammer”.

So, i’m just getting over a cold and…

… the anti-sealing trolls are harassing me again.

That’s right. I haven’t been on my computer for days and that’s what I come back to. The same old childish retorts and emotional conjecture that I clearly stated I didn’t want when I blocked them.

Apparently they see nothing wrong in spamming unrelated videos and trolling/baiting people who have blocked them. They actually praise each other for it and desperately need my attention so much that they’re finding old comments i’ve left and responding to those to bypass my blocking.

That’s how they treat people with different opinions that they can’t manipulate – Taunts, contempt and occasionally vile commentary.

I’m not actually surprised by their desperation, having lost their undue influence on the European Union since December 2007 because of the EFSA report, which clearly recognized bias in the activist reports.

A year has passed since this report has been released by the EU Government and they’re still repeating their unfounded certitudes, in the hopes of distracting people away from the report ; Some of them even tried to claim the EU commissioned report was paid for by the Canadian government, in order to keep the most naive from reading it.

They clearly adore ignorance because it suit their needs.

Drama Baiting On Stickam – Mod Abuse

Some people are so desperate for attention that they’re willing to abuse Stickam users to get it.

You know the type. They go around from room to room begging to be a moderator simply to be able to randomly kick people out of rooms for no reason.

Why ? Just to cause “drama”.

Though slightly better than Blogtv, which enables mods to give other mods this ability, Stickam is quite open to this abuse and quite frankly i’m tired of it all.

I’m tired of waiting an hour to get back into a conversation because some asshole decided to disrupt it. And I’m tired of having to send email to the owner of the room to complain.

The social aspect of this site is being eroded by these  juvenile, masturbatory games, which only compound the other instability issues Stickam has. It is no longer enjoyable to randomly visit people on Stickam anymore because of these problems.

I didn’t join Stickam to be randomly abused. I’d rather be chatting away with someone instead of wasting my time with this sophomoric bull shit. So i’ve decided to just drop friends from my list that enable this kind of behavior and never visit their room again unless they accept or issue a second friend request.

After all, I want to visit rooms where people actually want me to be in. Isn’t that the point of Stickam ?
